What's the deal with the Grand Prize?: This is the only prize. It is a trip for two to Cancun Mexico, the details are on the ticket. Please note that the airline ticket can be from anywhere in theU.S, you do not have to leave from Chicago.
How much are they?: $2.00/ticket or 6 (one book) for $10.00
When is the drawing?: At the Annual Fundraising Party in April, you don't have to be present to win. Therefore, please write clearly!
What are the odds?: The absolute maximum number of tickets sold is 9,000. That's way better odds than Powerball!
What's the point?: All the proceeds go to CYP (all three programs: Washington Park, Uptown, and Cabrini Green). This is a very low cost fund raiser since we basically only pay for the printing of the tickets.
What do I have to do?: Get some books from your VPC. We are asking everyone to sell 3 books, a mere 18 tickets! However, you are also welcome to take more than that.
What do I do after I sell them?: Bring the money back to your VPC at anytime throughout the quarter. The deadline for turning in tickets is April 1, right after Spring Break.
What do I do if I can't sell all my tickets?: Bring them to your VPC, but please try and sell them all, you have 2 months for crying out loud.
Can we write checks?: Yes. Checks can be made out to Chicago Youth Programs.
