- Read to Me (ages 3-5 years): Wednesdays, 6:00-7:30pm
- Pre-school reading awareness program where youth learn the basics of phonics with books, learning aids, and through arts and crafts. Each child works one-on-one with a volunteer.
- Reading Partners (1st-6th grades): Wednesdays, 6:00-7:30pm
- Reading program for elementary school kids to work one-on-one with a tutor to improve reading.
- Summer Academy (7th-12th grades): Thursdays, 6:00-8:00pm
- Youth meet with volunteers to discuss and do projects on important issues in the community. The program's focus will be the expression of views and feelings in formats such as writing (poems, stories, etc), song (rap, hip hop, etc), and videotape projects.
- Summer Saturdays (1st-8th grades): Saturdays (one per month)
- Help youth experience the city of Chicago they may never see with trips such as a Chinatown tour, music and theater workshop, and a White Sox game.
- Clever Girls and Young Gents (9th-12th grades): Saturdays
- Teen mentoring programs where volunteers and youth travel around the city doing fun and educational activities. Past activities have included laser tag, City of God movie, discussions of controversial issues, and mini golf.
- Hoop Scholars (7th-9th grades): Monday evenings
- Basketball skills program where youth learn the fundamentals of basketball while at the same time learning how to work as a team and cooperate with each other.
- Summer Soccer (3rd-6th grades): Tuesdays, 6:00-7:30pm
- Youth will learn the fundamental rules of soccer while at the same time building teamwork and discipline.
